It’s happened again, besties. Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner have reconnected four years after Jordyn’s alleged cheating incident with Tristan Thompson destroyed their friendship.
The Daily Mail discreetly posted a series of images of the erstwhile buddies eating dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 16. According to the site, the two were all grins as they exited the restaurant and even drove away in the same car.
This is the first time Kylie and Jordyn have been seen together since their public friendship split in February 2019. Jordyn and Tristan, who was in a relationship with Kylie’s sister Khloé Kardashian at the time, were reportedly photographed hooking up at a party, so Kylie kicked the model out of her inner circle.
Jordyn first rejected the claims, but in a candid interview with Red Table Talk a month later, she admitted to kissing Tristan. She also claimed to have apologized to Khloé several times since the event.
Let us just say… Khloé was irritated by Jordyn’s public confession. At the moment, Jordyn turned to Twitter to label her a “liar” and accuse her of severing her family.
Khloé subsequently clarified in a new tweet: “What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me.” Someone I adore and treat as if she were my younger sister. But Jordyn is not to blame for my family’s disintegration. Tristan was to blame.”
How did Kylie feel about the whole ordeal? In May 2019, a Kar-Jenner insider told PEOPLE that she and Jordyn will “never be best friends” again. “Although Kylie was very upset and disgusted by the Tristan situation, she didn’t want to make any harsh decisions when it came to Jordyn,” according to the source. “For a long period, Kylie looked unsure what would happen to their friendship. It was really tough for Kylie to simply remove Jordyn from her life.”
“Kylie is still in touch with Jordyn on occasion, but they will never be best friends again,” the source continued. “Kylie has moved on and seems to be very happy.”
Although neither Kylie nor Jordyn have officially remarked on their reunion, it looks like the ex-besties are on the mend.
